Thursday, June 25, 7–10pm, celebrate a story, a river, a mirror, a map: Forge Project Reading Room as it closes its year-long residency in Performance Space New York’s OPEN ROOM.
The evening will begin with a screening of Walter Scott’s Organza’s Revenge (2024), followed by a conversation with the filmmaker and interdisciplinary artist. The screening and conversation will be followed by karaoke, food by galle from Vivir Sabrosa, and a selection of drinks in Open Room to close out the evening.
Doors open at 6:30pm. Screening begins at 7pm. Food, drinks, and karaoke from 8:15pm onwards.

About Walter Scott
Walter Scott (b. 1985) is an interdisciplinary artist working across comics, drawing, video, and installation. His comic series, Wendy, chronicles the continuing misadventures of a young artist in a satirical version of the contemporary art world. The comic series has been featured in Art in America, ArtReview, The New York Times, and The New Yorker. Scott's exhibitions include Heavily Greebled: From the Depths of the Universe to Those of the Spirit, Fonderie Darling (Montreal); and A Shape in the Living World, Hunt Gallery (Toronto). His short film, Organza’s Revenge, has recently screened at festivals internationally and won the Emerging Canadian Filmmaker Award at the InsideOut film festival in Toronto. His most recent graphic novel, The Wendy Award, is now available from Drawn & Quarterly.
