Forge Project Santa Fe Weekend Challenge

This August, we’re challenging ourselves and our community to raise $25k for the Forge Project Fellowship — a program that supports Native artists and cultural practitioners with unrestricted cash awards and time in residence in upstate New York.

We know that sustained resources fuel cultural practice, and we have a critical need for further support of our Fellowship program. This year, our time in Santa Fe is connected to a bigger goal: raising $25,000 for the Forge Fellowship.

Every year, the Forge Project Fellowship recognizes six Indigenous cultural workers whose ongoing practices span disciplines and are rooted in relationship to land and community. Each Fellow receives a $25,000 unrestricted cash award in recognition of their practice and flexible residency stay of up to three weeks at Forge.

Our Fellowship program helps us realize this idea that sustained resources fuel a practice. The Fellowship supports Indigenous artists, writers, and cultural practitioners with time, resources, and space to deepen their work.
